Snapchat Girls Scams: How Premium Snapchat Accounts Are Scamming Men Across Dating Apps

Despite the name, Premium Snapchat is not an actual app. A Premium Snapchat is a Snapchat account that charges people for a subscription. These accounts upload explicit content such as nude photos and videos. Premium Snapchat scams happen when someone steals images from a model or an adult film actress in order to trick people into subscriptions. There are ways of finding out whether or not a Snapchat account is fake. Before I discuss how men are getting scammed on Snapchat, remember that you can verify people’s accounts by using Social Catfish’s reverse image search. Now let’s get into it!

How to Find Out If A Premium Snapchat Is Real

When it comes to figuring out whether or not you are being scammed on Premium Snapchat, there is an easy way of figuring it out. All you need to do is upload an image of the person into the search bar below. This will help you find out whether or not the person is who they say they are. Run your first search today!

What is a premium Snapchat?

A premium Snapchat is a private account that charges access to view content. This premium account isn’t found on the app store, but it is run by a user that charges a fee to join. Premium Snapchats are often used to post explicit content on their story thread. You can think of this as an Onlyfans account. Premium Snapchats are a common method that scammers use in Snapchat Scams.

What is a Fake Snapchat Girl?

A fake Snapchat girl refers to a Snapchat account that is used to reach out to real people with an account on the platform. They do this for a variety of reasons. But for the most part, scammers are looking to make money off of people who are looking for excitement or connection online.

How Does Premium Snapchats Work?

As mentioned above, premium Snapchat is not actually on the app store. Because of this, the users have to let you in. To join a premium Snapchat, you first have to find the user’s account. You then need to send them payment through a mobile payment app like Cash App, Zelle, Venmo, etc. After this, they will add you to their friend list and you can view their premium stories.

Can Someone Scam You on Snapchat?

Because pictures disappear, you might think that it might be hard for someone to scam you on Snapchat. This is not the case. Because you can upload images directly from the camera roll on Snapchat, fake accounts are still prevalent on the app. Some scammers steal images and create fake accounts to reach out to people on Snapchat. Many of the girls in Premium Snapchat are adult film actresses in real life.

Types of Premium Snapchat Girls Scams

Premium Snapchat scams mostly revolve around catfishing. Meaning, that scammers steal photos of women online and create fake accounts with their likenesses. These women are usually in the adult film industry because this gives the scammers access to nude photos of these women that they can then post on premium Snapchat to keep getting men to send them money. There are a couple of ways to tell if an account you’ve come across is a part of one of these scams.

Constantly Asking for Money Scam

Men go onto dating sites to meet women, hoping to find the girl of their dreams. As these women meet these men on messaging apps such as Kik, or dating apps, such as Hinge or OkCupid, they invite them to add them on Snapchat. Once they are added to Snapchat, they tell the men to pay them a certain amount of money for them to send them pictures. They then keep bugging them for money if the guys want to see the pictures and drain his bank account.

Blocking Their Snapchat Scam

Girls go on dating apps and befriend guys, messaging them and allowing them to add them on Snapchat. They then say that if guys want to sign up for their premium, they have to pay them through gift cards, CashApp, PayPal, their bank accounts, or Venmo accounts. Once they pay the girl, she then blocks him from keeping the money without sending him any pictures. The most effective way to defend against this scam is by running a reverse image search on the photos listed on the girls dating sites. A reverse image search will tell you where else her images are used. This will help you confirm whether or, not the girl you’re talking to is real before you invest your time and energy.

Lying About Their Identity (Catfishing) Scam

Who knows whos really behind the account that you’re paying money for? You could be paying money for someone to catfish you as they pretend to be a girl and put pre-made videos on their Snapchat just so they get money. As for the audience of these premium girls, there’s no way of figuring out who is really viewing this explicit content.

Scammers also lie about their identity in order for you to pay for the premium girl’s account so they can steal your money. People can easily lie about their age, making it easy for minors to pretend to be adults just to view explicit content, which is illegal.

Blackmailing the Guy With His Pictures

Girls will ask the guys to send them pictures back with their faces in the picture. They then sextortion blackmail the guy saying that they will make the picture public if they don’t pay the girls extra money. They then ask for more and more money until they drain the guy’s bank account.

Fake Review Scam

Someone pretends to be a guy that really liked a premium girl’s Snapchat account and posts about it on social media, letting their friends know about how great their experience was. They follow the Snapchat account and pay the fee to view content, but then get blocked instead of getting what they paid for.

Phishing Scam

Phishing is when a girl messages you on a dating site or on Snapchat saying that you need to fill out your information on a website in order to have access to their content. They then use this information to commit identity theft with your information and block you on the dating app and on Snapchat.

How to Avoid Premium Snapchat Girl’s Scams

  • Don’t give money to people on the Internet that you don’t know. These people can be trying to scam you out of your money without giving you the services that they promised you. While there are real Snapchat premium girl accounts out there that are legit, the best way to make sure it’s not a scam is to rely on free porn videos instead of buying services from someone else. However, if you fell for any of these scams you also have the option to report them.
  • If you absolutely need to buy a premium Snapchat account, do your research. There are people that post on social media or blog sites about which accounts they like when it comes to Snapchat premium accounts. If you see multiple posts about one girl, this could mean that the account is legit and you’ll be less likely to get scammed. Keep in mind though that some of these reviews could still be scams, which is why you want to look for multiple people posting about the same person.
  • If a girl sends you a random link for any reason, don’t click on it. This could be a sign of phishing, where someone sends you a link with viruses or a form to fill out your information. The scammer then uses it to commit identity fraud against you. If you get a random link, report the person, and avoid opening it.
