What Do I Do If I Found Out That I’m Talking to a Catfish or Scammer?
- Block them immediately.
- Report them to the FTC, IC3, and/or FBI.
- Don’t send them any more money or information.
- If you sent them money, contact your bank if you sent it to them via wire transfer, cash, check, or card. They may be able to help you recover your money.
