Some people don’t know that scammers lurk the most popular dating apps<\/a>, waiting for you to fall in love with them so they can steal every last bit of your paychecks without you even realizing it. Others know about scammers<\/a> and think they will recognize a scammer message right away, only to realize they’ve been giving money to one all along. There are many people out there that don’t know the signs of a scammer<\/a>, what their first messages are, and how convincing their messages are to a lot of people. That is why I compiled a list of scammer messages they have sent their victims so that you know what to watch out for.<\/p>\n

Can You Be Scammed by Opening a Text Message?<\/h2>\n

In general, simply opening a text message cannot directly scam you. However, some text messages may contain links that can lead you to a phishing website or download malware onto your device if you click on them.<\/p>\n

Good morning my love, i hope you\u2019re having a good night. It\u2019s great to have you in my heart and to be able to feel you close to me all day long. I never get to miss you because I know you are always with me, even when we have many roads and miles between us.<\/p>\n

I never get to miss you because I have you in my thoughts all the time; you are constantly in my heart, feeding my soul with love and affection, and leaving me with this feeling of fulfillment and happiness.
\nIn a couple of hours I will get to see the love of my life.<\/p>\n

I can\u2019t thank faith enough for having found you. I only regret the lost time, I regret not having met you before\u2026 But here\u2019s a little secret, which can also be a life motto: \u201chappiness, even if late!\u201d<\/p>\n

Still, I will not complain about luck; on the contrary, I just thank the fact that I am with you now and I will get to enjoy your presence, your intimacy, the sweetness and delicacy of your gestures, your skin and all the pleasure it will give me when it touches mine.<\/p>\n

You are everything I ever wanted in my life. You are everything I love and wanted to love. You give me this feeling of fulfillment like nothing else.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As you can see, romance scammers will say anything<\/a> they can to make you fall in love with them faster. The victim that talked to this scammer<\/a> talked to him for three months. Within these three months<\/a>, he was able to convince her that he was in Dubai working for a business and borrowed $100,000 to get the job done. He then had told her that he transferred his complete international limit and still needed money to pay his contractors but didn’t tell her the amount he needed.<\/p>\n

After this message, she became concerned and contacted her daughter. She was able to take the photo of the person the scammer said he was and run an image search<\/a> to see where the photo originally came from. They found 15 additional social media profiles<\/a> that were using the same images, all with different names!<\/p>\n

After they found this out, the scammer texted the victim and told her he was on a private plane coming back home. She texted<\/a> him back, asking if he was lying, and got a text back from him right away. He told her how he can’t leave the country to come and see her until he paid the contractors. He blamed her for this since he was paying more attention to her rather than his business.<\/p>\n

“But the really scary part was that he had found my personal information online<\/a>. I had only used my first name but he had two photos of me. Nothing bad. He told me my first and last name and my address. Of course, I lied and said it wasn\u2019t me. But then I just blew him up,” she stated.<\/p>\n

He texted me for 24 hours and then I blocked<\/a> him. But it was heartbreaking to find out he was fake. That had been my first try at online dating<\/a>. I couldn\u2019t believe there were people out there like this.”<\/p>\n

He eventually asked me for a $250 Apple gift card<\/a>. He needed supplies for his iPhone that he couldn\u2019t buy where he was. Because of course Apple only sells in the United States<\/a>. LOL.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This man that texted this victim claimed to be a doctor that went overseas for volunteer work. She knew it was fake from the beginning<\/a>, but she kept the conversation going just to see what he would say. Once he asked her for the gift card<\/a>, she blocked him immediately.<\/p>\n

Scammers<\/a> will do and say anything they can to get the money they need, especially by acting like their life is ruined. Here is a classic example of a scammer claiming to be a military man<\/a> getting disarmed… quite literally… because he lost his gun and badge.<\/p>\n

If you are in contact with someone claiming<\/a> you are the only one that can help fund their emergency, cut all ties immediately. They are just a scammer<\/a> sitting in an office with the other scammers, trying to come up with any story they can to steal your identity<\/a> and money.<\/p>\n

Aww, she made his heart melt like a Snickers bar… so now she has to “pay $1.25” for that?! If he’s comfortable enough to ask for $1.25 for a Snickers bar, he will be comfortable enough to drain your bank account<\/a>. Beware of the scammers<\/a> that add money amounts to their sweet romantic statements.<\/p>\n

It seems hard to believe, but we’ve been together a few weeks<\/a> now. That’s not very long in the grand scheme of things, but it’s long enough for me to know how much I feel about you . I remember but only vaguely now! how my life was before I met you and I never want to go back to that dreary existence again.<\/p>\n

That was when I had nothing much to get up for in the morning except a day at work. Having had my heart broken twice already, I was becoming something of a hermit; sure I never wanted to get involved with anyone again. I was to the point where I believed that the “happily ever after” kind of love was only found in fiction and in fairy tales but then I met you, We’re never at a loss for words or things to talk about, when our lips are free to speak! Now I believe in love again, because I believe in you and it thrills me to say you actually believe in me!<\/p>\n

you’ve brought me so much happiness and joy that I can scarcely contain it all. I’m sure beams of light radiate from me wherever I go. I noticed a few raised eyebrows at work when I started coming in bright and early on time, smiling and energized, humming some love song on my playlist and some you have sent me , a couple of the guys wanted to know what’s up with me, but they don’t understand I am filled with secrets that cannot be shared or even expressed in words. So I just told them that I’m seeing someone and it’s the real thing this time.<\/p>\n

It’s very strange because, even when we’re apart, I feel that I’m still with you. I remember what it’s like to hold you, to kiss you, to make love to you, as those delicious sensations never really leave me. We respond to each other so naturally and completely I believe the gods must have created us to complete each other’s existence. Ours is a union that reaches beyond the mere physical into mystical planes that take my breath away. You are part of my very being now and I could never be complete or whole without you.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Most of the time, scammers<\/a> will copy and paste statements like this from the Internet, in order to get you to fall for them faster. They know that the faster you fall in love with them, the faster they can gain your trust to steal your funds. If you get a statement like this after months of talking to each other without video chatting with one another<\/a> or meeting them in person, chances are you are in contact with a scammer.<\/p>\n
