The most common way scammers scam people is by pretending to be someone they aren’t (catfishing<\/a>) and scrolling through online dating sites. They make random people fall in love with them quickly by saying the most romantic things, then ask for money countless times.<\/p>\n

Once the victim has no more money left to give them, they block them off of everything and run away before they can get caught. These types of scammers are called romance scammers<\/a>, and each one has a different story and excuse as to why they need your money. Many educated people have fallen for this and have different stories to share so that our audience can prevent getting scammed.<\/p>\n

They could’ve also been romantic with you and told you how much they loved you after only a week of knowing you.<\/p>\n
