This allows them to gain the <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.socialcatfish.cloud\/scamfish\/reddit-scams-how-scammers-use-reddit-to-steal-victims-money\/\">victims&#8217; trust faster and steal their money<\/a> quicker. With the coronavirus spreading around the world, many people are forced to stay home. His profile shows countless pictures of him modeling and working out, which has drawn many people&#8217;s attention toward how good-looking he is. Because of this, scammers have targeted him countless times, stealing many of his pictures and creating thousands of <a href=\"https:\/\/socialcatfish.com\/scamfish\/online-dating-scammer-photos\/\">fake profiles<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Ernsting receives about 10-15 <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.socialcatfish.cloud\/scamfish\/why-do-scammers-use-whatsapp-and-google-hangouts-to-message-victims\/\">messages a day from victims<\/a> yelling at him for abandoning them, and one even accused him of leaving her at the altar. There are even some people who have asked him if he&#8217;s the real Tom Ernsting or just another <a href=\"https:\/\/socialcatfish.com\/scamfish\/nigerian-scammer-photos\/\">scammer<\/a> trying to talk to them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe <a href=\"https:\/\/socialcatfish.com\/scamfish\/coronavirus-scams-how-covid-19-stimulus-check-scams-shopping-scams-have-evolved-since-march-2020\/\">COVID-19<\/a> has increased the <a href=\"https:\/\/socialcatfish.com\/scamfish\/how-to-verify-dating-profiles-with-social-catfish\/\">number of catfishing scams<\/a> due to people having more free time on their hands. Scammers have made thousands of fake profiles based on Terry&#8217;s photos, targeting thousands of women&#8217;s wallets and even some <a href=\"https:\/\/wp.socialcatfish.cloud\/scamfish\/crazy-grindr-catfish-stories-the-tales-of-how-gay-men-were-scammed-on-grindr\/\">gay men&#8217;s<\/a> wallets. They have access to Wi-Fi and the military pays for them to get deployed to wherever the military says. He got popular on social media for posting photos of him traveling across the world as he worked for the cruise line. As he gained 10,000 followers, scammers started to <a href=\"https:\/\/socialcatfish.com\/scamfish\/how-to-find-someone-with-a-picture\/\">steal his photos<\/a> and pretended to be him as they lured girls into their scam trap.<\/p>\n<p>Since then, he&#8217;s gotten <a href=\"https:\/\/socialcatfish.com\/scamfish\/scammer-messages-what-are-some-messages-that-scammers-have-sent-their-victims\/\">thousands of messages<\/a> a year averaging to about 5-10 messages a day from girls who have been tricked with his photos. There have been girls simply letting him know that his images were being used, and others that have accused him of being a scammer himself.<\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s seen about 10 new accounts with his images on the profiles created a day.
