What a lot of people don&#8217;t know is that it is completely normal to continuously feel these emotions and that they don&#8217;t last forever. Many people who have gotten help <a href=\"https:\/\/socialcatfish.com\/scamfish\/national-financial-awareness-day-how-to-protect-my-bank-account\/\">from being scammed<\/a> have reported that once they accepted that they feel these emotions, eventually they start to have less control over their lives. Once they lose their intensity, then you can process what you are feeling and figure out how to cope easier.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Find friends and family that can support you as you go through this difficult time.<\/strong> A supportive family member or friend is one who can empathize with your pain and offer you a shoulder to cry on without judgment. They will listen to what you have to say and offer solutions that can <a href=\"https:\/\/socialcatfish.com\/scamfish\/what-is-catfishing-online-dating\/\">help relieve you of your emotions.<\/a> They forgive you and encourage you to forgive yourself. They understand just how real a scam can seem and that a scammer can be really good at what they do. They know that a scammer plays on people&#8217;s emotions, fears, and needs to get what they want and can remind you that anyone could&#8217;ve fallen for it.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Perform self-care activities to relieve your negative emotions.<\/strong> You can perform self-care activities for as long as you want and as often as you want to get rid of any negative emotions you might be feeling. Self-care can be something as simple as deep breathing, meditation, or yoga to help relax your body and process your emotions in a positive way. You can also do a hobby that you enjoy such as sports, singing, sewing, writing, <a href=\"https:\/\/socialcatfish.com\/scamfish\/ps5-and-xbox-shopping-scams-how-selling-out-at-best-buy-and-walmart-leads-to-price-gouging-scams\/\">playing video games<\/a>, and any other activity that helps you get more positive thinking back into your life. Self-care also includes creating boundaries that help you limit what you do or say for someone else. These boundaries can help people in your life know how you should be treated and keep you from overwhelming yourself.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Journal how you are feeling and change your thought processes.\u00a0<\/strong>This will help you monitor all the negative thoughts you might be thinking and help you turn them into positive thoughts.
